He Interviewed Me Again!

Over the past few weeks, John Kuhlman interviewed me about music and practice (last time around I talked about endurance sports), and the article is now posted on his website.

Just thought I'd share... would love to hear your thoughts...

Love your explanation of finding the zen in exercises. That works with so many different things, as you know very well.

So many folks get sooooo focused on the technique and hitting marks that they completely miss the soul of what they're trying to achieve. In music especially, I'd prefer to listen to someone who slips once in a while but really feels and conveys the music than someone who can hit every note perfectly but have no soul.

Thanks for sharing that.

Thanks, Bill! I had fun doing the interview... made me think tangibly about stuff that had been previously more abstract in my mind...

Just got around to reading this. Of course I wanted to hear more about the music/athletic connections of practice but enjoyed "hearing" a very "grown-up" Curly Su. You sound like a Doc. Imagine that.
