yeah, it's pretty cool, eh? he ran a 2:46 in boston the next year, actually... my grandmother said she was the one who handed him water when he ran by - then, the nyc marathon was 4+ times around central park, and they had to guarantee 50 runners in order to get the city to allow it. amazing.
