Okay, I'm a dork. You piqued my curiosity, so I did a little research. This was the firsdt time Fat Tuesday and Super Tuesday have ever coincided, near as I can tell. Rather fascinating, actually. Really? Shows how wrong 5 minutes worth of Googling can be. Color me corrected...
Now the interesting question: was the intentional? Super Tuesday seems to move around the calendar almost as much as Fat Tuesday does...
If it's Super Fat Tuesday, does that make it "Morbidly Obese Tuesday?"
Somehow that's not quite as sexy as "Tres Mardi Gras" or whatever the French equivalent would be. (Everything sounds better in French)
