Okay, I'm a dork. You piqued my curiosity, so I did a little research. This was the firsdt time Fat Tuesday and Super Tuesday have ever coincided, near as I can tell. Rather fascinating, actually. If you're that curious, I could give you more details, but I don't think I want to bore your other readers with my sheer geekiness.
I'm a flutist and an IronMan. I read a lot. I write and I take pictures and I received a Doctorate of Musical Arts last May. I sometimes tell the truth too much and try a little too hard to be funny.

Really? Shows how wrong 5 minutes worth of Googling can be. Color me corrected...
Now the interesting question: was the intentional? Super Tuesday seems to move around the calendar almost as much as Fat Tuesday does...
If it's Super Fat Tuesday, does that make it "Morbidly Obese Tuesday?"
Somehow that's not quite as sexy as "Tres Mardi Gras" or whatever the French equivalent would be. (Everything sounds better in French)
