It went well. It wasn't perfect (more on this later), but I think I projected some of myself through the music, which I suppose is more important than perfection. Some of the mistakes are ridiculous and I'm annoyed by them, but all in all, I enjoyed myself; I had fun performing. And as my
teacher in Cleveland once requested of me, I managed to '
Play with love.'

While perfection is the ideal, excellence is the actual goal, and it sounds like you were excellent.
And "playing with love" is such a great way to put it. I've never heard it said quite that way, but how can your head talk be negative if you are trying to communicate love?
