I just wrote a paper for Philosophy of Music entitled 'Prostituting Your Art', claiming that gigging is worse than prostitution. I might have finally pushed the whole 'Susanna writes about crazy shit'-thing too far. I'll let you know...

It's official-you can call me a whore.
I never gigged that much, but I had one gig in Miami that was just awful and made me completely dirty.
On the other hand, some of the most amazing instrumentalists I've ever heard were session musicians in LA who just come in and whore it up for a few hours to lay down the movie soundtrack.
