Looks like you had a lot of fun!

I love the pic of your dad sitting on the statues.

No words necessary - the pics tell a great story.

I definitely agree about the distance- that 9/10k is the worst. I need to do more 10ks, but can't quite bring myself to!

It's awful thinking about N.O. I've always wanted to go there (and still will, but it's not the same). Your photos really capture it- non family ones were completely depressing.

And to echo Danny- that's one HECK of a lot of racing in the next month! I'm looking forward to following your journey to sub-4, as I try to make it there myself.

Looks like a great family time!

On my eating tour of N.O. I think the _Gumbo Shop_ was pretty much top value. Fabulous lunch spot.

Maybe if I ran a race there I could justify having biegnets at _Cafe du Monde_.

I feel as if I have been to New Orleans without having to go! Great photos! I want a chicken hat!

Looks like a great race, and best of all you are learning from each race scenario. You'll hit your sub 4 goal. Thanks for sharing the pics-they are very thought provoking
