*update

okay i realize it's not that big of a deal, but i just wanted to clarify for all you fact checkers out there.

so you don't think i'm a pathalogical liar, the results are in, and they say I finished in 24:01.5...grrr...but oh well...it's almost less annoying to be a bit further away...next time under 24:00, for sure!

6, Susanna Loewy, Cleveland OH, 24, 154, 24:01.5, 7:45/M

you crack me up. mine was a second off too. Chalk it up to the fact that we weren't right on the line when the gun went off and no chip timing equals gun splits!

But it's a PR ... woohoo!

following up on your comment from my blog... my 3 hours today was LSD...

i would have been interested in your race report if you had described how you were feeling/RPE kinda stuff during your 24:01.5 grrr!

sorry CSu, you know i'm in my own little world!

i've been training mostly long slow distances (LSD), building out capillaries, so i can endure, but i've gots no speed...

so, i admire your speed, and i would have thought your rate of perceived exertion (RPE) must of been pretty high as you chugged out those 3 miles for a PR!

Congrats on the PR. I would think that would bode well for your upcoming (hopefully) warmer races.

Awesome, awesome time! I cannot believe you culd even move your muscles in that temperature. I can just imagine how fast you would have been under less extreme conditions. Good for you!
